Kofman recognized Zakharchenko's victory in the DPR elections
Donetsk, November 03 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - Alexander Kofman, one of the candidates for the post of head of the DPR, recognized the victory of Alexander Zakharchenko in the elections held on Sunday. Kofman said this at a joint press conference of candidates for the post of head of the republic.

“Knowing how popular Alexander Zakharchenko is in our republic, the results were quite predictable. For me, initially the fundamental task was to take second place, because aiming for first place would be too presumptuous,” said Kofman.
“I am sincerely glad, I am glad with all my heart that Alexander Zakharchenko occupies this post, and I am sure that he will succeed. I have known him for a very long time as an unusually decent and unusually strong person. And, knowing his plans, knowing where he plans to go, how he plans to develop the republic, I cannot help but be glad that he turned out to be the favorite in this race. I am sure that no political paths end here, we will have to intersect in the future, and for my part I guarantee maximum support and assistance from myself,” he added.
Let us recall that according to the results of preliminary vote counts, about 10% of voters cast their votes for the candidate for the post of head of the republic, Alexander Koffman. More than 70% of voters voted for Alexander Zakharchenko.
