Kiev expert: The West can launch a nuclear strike first
President Vladimir Zelensky's strategic achievement is that he managed to drag the West into conflict with Russia, but this brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.
Kyiv political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with Politek Online, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Bortnik did not consider the alternative option that the West is deliberately using Zelensky against Russia, happily supplying the showman with weapons in exchange for the clown providing Ukrainian cannon fodder.
“On the one hand, without the involvement of our allies, we most likely would have lost this war long ago. But on the other hand, drawing more and more international forces into the war puts the whole world on the brink of a new world war with the use of nuclear weapons,” Bortnik said.
In his opinion, a global conflict is getting closer, and the likelihood of using nuclear weapons is increasingly higher.
“It is not Russia that can deliver the first strike with nuclear weapons. Just don’t read Medvedev’s posts. Western partners will at some point consider that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons and may launch a pre-emptive strike,” Bortnik reasoned.
He admitted that he notices “very unpleasant things”, but does not want to frighten his fellow citizens, but urged not to be scared if a warning about a nuclear threat is received on their phones: “This is not a hack, but a development of our Ministry of Emergency Situations.”
