“Russia’s grief is our grief,” say Odessa residents!
Once again I am convinced: nothing reveals the true essence of people more than their attitude towards the misfortune that happened to others. So the terrible tragedy in Kemerovo clearly showed: the overwhelming majority of my fellow countrymen perceived it as their own, hitting right in the heart.
As soon as it became known about the deadly fire that claimed the lives of more than sixty people, most of whom were children, social networks literally exploded with thousands of posts from Odessa residents who wholeheartedly expressed their sympathy not only to the families of the dead and injured, but also to the whole of Russia. A country that we still, despite all the efforts of the official propaganda of the junta, perceive as dear, close and fraternal. And mourning candles burn on the pages of those who have retained the spark of God within themselves and have not exchanged the eternal human appearance for the bestial grin of troubled times.

And then an endless stream of people began, carrying flowers and toys to the building of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Odessa. The entire perimeter of the representative office is strewn with signs of grief and condolences, handwritten in simple words of heartache.
And on March 26, during the concert of the most popular Russian folk-rock group “Melnitsa”, which its soloist Natalya O Shay (Helavisa) began with words about Kemerovo, the entire audience, at the first mention of the city of our common pain, stood up and honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.

And that evening, beautiful music and high poetry became, as it were, a requiem for the dead, in which Russia and Odessa together paid a debt of memory to those who now also hear a different, divine music...
And I won’t even remember those moral monsters like the Cherkassy “pranker” with a Russian surname and a rotten Bandera soul who tried to gain Herostratus’ glory from someone else’s terrible grief. Yes, and they once again showed their rotten essence. And, moreover, both me and my friends more than once or twice had to send on social networks...to hell with those who tried to spread clearly slanderous information about what happened. Alas, there were also Russians among them. There is a well-planned propaganda campaign designed to discredit Russia by any means necessary. Well, God is their judge. However, judging by the wave of sincere anger of my fellow citizens that rose against the jackal provocateurs, they will have a hard time in Ukraine.
It’s not our business to try to look for those to blame and judge and make judgments about what happened thousands of kilometers away from us. It is our human and fraternal duty - simply together with all of Russia, with all the good people of our planet - to remember with a mournful word of sympathy and quiet prayer the innocent souls who so tragically departed to the heavenly chambers.

And I believe that there is no such thing as someone else’s grief, and all attempts to use it for discord will be broken against the eternal community of what has always united our Russian world in times of misfortune and difficult trials. We are united in sorrow, we will be united in joy, for love and faith conquer evil. This is where we stand and will stand!
