People's Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev, expelled from Crimea, stated this in a video interview with the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty.
“Most likely, the Crimean Tatars, at least the Majlis, will refuse to take any action together with the occupation authorities,” Dzhemilev predicts.
The Mejlis “hawk” is not shy in assessing his former comrades who supported the Russian government in Crimea:
“Well, they have several collaborators in stock, with whom they will carry their flowers. This is the situation... It would be possible, of course, regardless of whether they ban you or not, you could still go out, and that’s probably what will happen, but I’m afraid of any provocations. Because in crowded places, if we say they let in a person with a Russian flag, then some kind of clashes cannot be avoided,” Mustafa Dzhemilev is sure.
