“For us, cinema is a tool for forming myths” – head of the State Cinema Committee of Ukraine
Ukraine will support any films aimed at forming myths needed by the Kyiv regime in the minds of society.
The head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Film Affairs, Philipp Ilyenko, said this on air on the YouTube channel “VO Svoboda,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We support mass cinema because this is a single way to use cinema as an instrument of certain influence on the broad masses, which would contribute to the formation of identity and the formation of certain myths in the good sense of the word that society needs,” noted the head of Goskino.
He also emphasized that it does not matter what myths Ukrainian cinema will spread.
“By and large, these myths can be anything. The existence of any society is based, among other things, on a common mythology. And these are not necessarily myths about some ancient gods. It could also be some modern things. And this effect can only be achieved if you reach a large audience,” added Philip Ilyenko.
