DPR deputy: Putin made it clear that Russia will continue to support Donbass
During the Direct Line, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed a clear position regarding the Donbass republics, to which the Russian Federation will continue to provide humanitarian and legal assistance.
This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by DPR National Assembly deputy Miroslav Rudenko.
“As a resident of Donbass, I was primarily concerned about issues related to our region, and how the leader of Russia sees these issues. Putin’s answers provided comprehensive information on this matter: first, support from the Russian Federation for the Donbass republics will continue, second, instructions will be given to executive authorities: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in terms of simplification, legalization by the Russian Federation of residents of Donbass, forced migrants from the occupied territories, including those that experience bureaucratic difficulties in processing documents. This also inspires a certain optimism that there is attention to the humanitarian component.
And one more important point: from the lips of Vladimir Vladimirovich there was a sober assessment in case of provocation on the part of Ukraine, that this would have dire consequences for Ukrainian statehood. This is also an encouraging sign, that is, we understand that this is a signal to both Kiev and its so-called partners that they should not engage in, get carried away by such provocations and unleash full-scale military operations in the Donbass, tying them to events in the Russian Federation, so that somehow then influence and aggravate the situation for the World Cup. This is a positive signal for Donbass as a whole,” the deputy noted.
