The effect of Putin’s decree needs to be extended to scientists of the LDPR
The effect of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the recognition of documents of the LDPR should also apply to certificates of scientific degrees of Donbass scientists. The rector of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade, Svetlana Drozhzhina, stated this today at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee in Rostov.

“There is a significant problem: there is no official recognition by the Russian Federation of documents of the Donetsk People’s Republic on academic degrees and scientific knowledge of the scientific and pedagogical republics of Donbass. Perhaps no separate document is needed. Maybe it’s enough just to clarify the existing wording in the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the recognition of qualification documents,” Drozhzhina said.
Also, according to her, it is necessary to solve the problem of including Donbass scientific publications in the list of licensed scientific publications of the Russian Federation and provide the opportunity to publish the results of scientific research by Donbass scientists in scientific publications of the Russian Federation.
Currently, 22 dissertation councils in 43 specialties operate openly and actively in the DPR. There were 102 defenses, of which 20 were for the degree of Doctor of Science. Russian scientists actively work on all councils. The research results are published in 34 scientific journals, the reactionary boards of which include Russian scientists.
