He told reporters about this after today’s government meeting, the Government Portal reports.
“There is a question of water now, water utilities (in the Lugansk region - ed.). Payment is not being made, and one of the issues that will be raised in Minsk today is, among other things, that on the one hand we cannot provide Luganka (Lugansk TPP - ed.) with anthracite group of coal - we do not have supply routes, except from uncontrolled territory, or from Russia, and we must turn off the water supply,” the minister said.
He explained that today the Ministry of Energy cannot provide generation to this facility due to the lack of appropriate logistics.
Nasalik also did not rule out stopping the Lugansk Thermal Power Plant.
“It may be that we stop Luhanka. In our territory, we will compensate for this at the expense of the Severodonetsk Thermal Power Plant - turn on the units for gas coal, we will transfer it from Slavyanka (Slavyanskaya Thermal Power Plant - ed.), But we will not be able to provide it there,” he said.
Let us remind you that, as PolitNavigator previously reported, Igor Nasalik said that the cessation of energy supply to the LPR from Ukraine supposedly did not have a political background and offered to return electricity to Lugansk for money.
