Kyiv, January 30 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The transport blockade of Crimea primarily affects ordinary people, while the firms of Ukrainian oligarchs continue to work on the peninsula.

Representative of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis Eskender Bariev stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Social Country”.

According to him, for the interests of the oligarchs, the Verkhovna Rada previously adopted a fake law on a free economic zone in Crimea.

“We appealed to the president with a request to repeal the law on the free economic zone in Crimea... We are faced with the fact that when passenger traffic from Crimea to the mainland is blocked, many complain, because in many families children study in Ukraine. Thus, the connection between people who live in Crimea and people who are on the mainland is lost. But we maintain a “connection” only to earn money when multi-kilometer convoys of trucks stand at the border before entering Crimea,” Bariev said.
