Zelensky has nothing to go with to the meeting of the Normandy Four
If the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at the meeting in the Normandy format, for the sake of which Kyiv signed the Steinmeier formula, does not change the current rhetoric, no one will listen to him.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He recalled how long Zelensky’s trip to the United States had been announced and what a failure it ended for the Ukrainian president.
“Now they are telling us about a fateful meeting in the Normandy format, and, mind you, it is not Putin who is rushing there. The Russian leadership has repeatedly said: if they take certain steps, let’s meet, of course. And Zelensky presents this as a very important meeting, for the sake of this he signed this ill-fated formula - he explains that for the sake of the Normandy meeting this paper was signed.
I really don’t know why he’s going there. What is he going to offer there? We never heard this. I understand that he has nothing to offer. It is clear that all this talk about the border will be tomorrow, about elections only according to Ukrainian law with Ukrainian parties - no one will even discuss this, we understand this perfectly well,” Kornilov said.
