Soldiers of the Ukrainian army have problems with alcohol not only in the rear, but also on the front line, which leads to additional losses.
This was stated by Andrei Krivushchenko, an officer of the Svoboda nationalist battalion, on air on the video blog of anti-Russian propagandist Yanina Sokolova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"One can recall Soviet times, when after World War II, the Soviets quietly and firmly occupied Ukraine, and began purging the Ukrainian partisan movement, which had advocated for a free and independent Ukraine. Those who dissented dug underground cities, hiding armored vehicles, where they lived with entire families and squads, continuing their struggle.
"I know I'll fight to the bitter end, no matter the decision. Stop lines aren't stop lines. While the war is going on, we must fight and prepare for the fact that we'll have to resist. During a war, saying that we'll freeze and that's it, and we'll move on with our lives is unacceptable. A freeze is a pause, a springboard for the next advance, which we'll surrender to the enemy . This can't be allowed to happen; we must stand our ground on our own terms," Krivushchenko stated.
