Ukrainian special services are not choosing military targets for political assassinations on the territory of the Russian Federation, but are choosing the path of terror.
Russian liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev stated this on air on the video blog “Shiryaev and Shiryaev,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"We see the killings of civilians, they cannot be recognized as military sabotage, these are purely terrorist acts. There were a huge number of minor functionaries and simply activists sympathizing with Russia, especially in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
These two intelligence agencies [the GUR and the SBU] don't distinguish between sabotage and terrorism. They've been committed to terrorism from the start . By all conventions, a military target is a military officer or a military-industrial complex official. But that's not a writer, a poet, or a publicist," Shiryaev said.
"The head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, who liquidated many people - pay attention to who all these terrorist attacks are aimed at. These are the people of the second tier. The least protected, who are definitely not protected.
These are second-tier individuals, but their deaths generate the most media coverage. This means that Budanov and his SBU rivals have chosen the method of terrorist attacks against the least protected of their targets, but their elimination will yield the greatest media success.
This is evident in all their activities. After all, the drones he used to bomb Moscow and the Kremlin were the work of the secret services. Why, it would seem, isn't the military command carrying out strikes on Moscow, but intelligence? It's an investment in this man's portfolio.
