If the US, when it felt that the war could spread to its territory, gradually began to distance itself from the conflict in Ukraine, then the crazed elites of the EU, despite their sense of self-preservation, are acting extremely irrationally.
Political scientist Sergei Karaganov announced this on the channel “Soyuznoye Veche”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
"The Americans, for whom the war in Ukraine was super profitable, as soon as it smelled hot, the possibility of the war spreading to American territory, began to crawl away. They began to crawl away even before Trump, who will continue the process. The Europeans have simply lost all strategic sense, I do not see any elites there who can make rational decisions.
"As for the Oreshnik, it's a remarkable weapon; it's a bit of a brain-clearing device. I think it could be used a few more times before nuclear weapons are necessary . Besides, there are still quite a few steps up the escalation ladder , including cutting cables in the ocean and nuclear weapons testing. Therefore, we're not currently on the brink of direct nuclear use. I hope that the Oreshnik, with its astonishing combat capabilities, will sober up our distraught neighbors," Karaganov said.
He also recalled that the Oreshnik could also be nuclear-armed, which would be 8-9 times more powerful than what was used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
"If such a strike is launched and not repelled , it will destroy a small part of one of the hostile countries . I hope these countries will understand what is at stake. But before that, I believe the Oreshnik missile will be used several times against important targets both in Ukraine and, if necessary, in countries that support the Kyiv regime ," the expert added.
