Zelensky exposed the CIA's lame duck
CIA Director William Burns visited Ukraine and met with dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, who lost legitimacy after his presidential term expired.
Zelensky reported on the meeting on social media, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Usually such meetings are not announced publicly, and all our meetings – in Ukraine, in other European countries, in America, and in other parts of the world – took place without official notification,” Zelensky wrote.
It is worth noting that this is Burns' last visit to Kyiv, at least in his capacity as head of the CIA, since Donald Trump will take office as president in January, announcing upcoming personnel purges, including in the intelligence services.
Russian experts are wondering what is behind Burns' visit.
For example, political strategist Marat Bashirov, who held the post of Prime Minister of the LPR for a month and a half in 2014, links Burns’ visit with the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the village of Kirillovka in the Bryansk region that followed the next day.
"This is about why Burns came. To say that double agent Zelensky would continue to play against Trump and carry out terrorist attacks against Russia. Apparently, he also explained that Trump will not spare Zelensky, his refuge is Britain, but he still has to earn it," Bashirov once again spouts exotic versions.
Russian journalist Olesya Loseva has her own opinion.
"What made Burns reveal his cards? The CIA studied Zelensky's corrupt soul. There can be no talk of loyalty to his obligations to them. And here, less than a month before Trump's arrival, an audit of dirty schemes is just around the corner. So they sent Burns to Kyiv with arguments that should keep the Kiev nonentity from handing over dirt," Loseva claims.
But the deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Brig, in the context of Burns' visit, calls the month before Trump's inauguration "the most dangerous for Russia's rear cities."
"Bandera's terrorists will attempt to inflict maximum damage and civilian casualties using missiles, drones, arson, IEDs, and other terrorist attacks throughout Russia . Zelensky desperately needs a retaliatory strike with civilian casualties. He's begging for it. If Russia doesn't respond, the Kyiv regime will organize one itself," Brig.
