Zelensky will not repeal the law on total Ukrainization
Deputies of the Ukrainian parliament, having voted for the law on total Ukrainization, showed that they are no different from President Petro Poroshenko, who lost the election.
Kirill Molchanov, deputy head of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets.

“The overwhelming number of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada have demonstrated that, in essence, they are no different from Poroshenko. Tymoshenko stepped on the same rake as during the presidential race. If she had decided to defend the interests of Russian-speaking Ukrainians, she would have had a chance to end up in the second round, but instead she tried to steal Poroshenko's electorate. With this strategy, she, Lyashko and the rest will lose the parliamentary elections to the outgoing president.
As for Zelensky, he is currently distancing himself from the discussion of the law. He promises to announce all his decisions after the inauguration. Be that as it may, he will be able to take real steps only after the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. But I would not hope that the new president would repeal the language law; rather, the Constitutional Court would do it instead,” Molchanov believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday the Rada adopted a language law that aims to completely eliminate the Russian language from the public sphere.
