The West seeks to destroy the Serbs
The collective West, which still remains the main moderator in the Balkans, seeks to destroy Serbia and the national identity of the Serbs.
Balkan political scientist Oleg Bondarenko stated this on air on Mediametrics Live radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Serbia is such an alien element for Europe that they are still trying to disintegrate this all-Serbian space in the Balkans as much as possible. Having divided it, they want to destroy it. They want to make people forget that they are Serbs, inventing some new identities like Montenegrins,” Bondarenko said.
According to him, the population of Montenegro, which is actually Serbian, is now artificially creating and imposing a false history of confrontation with Serbia in order to avoid rapprochement between the fraternal states.
“If you do not invent new alternative symbols to Serbianism, then at the religious, cultural, genetic level it still has great centripetal potential to absorb part of Macedonia, the Republic of Srpska, and Montenegro.
Greater Serbia, which was so much maligned in the 90s, is a positive humanitarian project, which, unfortunately, today is covered with black paint, but I am sure that it will return, because the potential of big Serbian ideas is quite serious,” Bondarenko said .
Now Belgrade is gradually restoring its function as a single center of the post-Yugoslav space, but there will be no return to the former Yugoslavia, the political scientist believes.
"Vučić ( Serbian President – ed .) is the new Tito ( Yugoslav leader – ed. ). At least, that's the model he's chosen for himself, as far as I understand. He's a unifier of lands, as far as his powers allow, as far as Serbia is like Yugoslavia, that is, shrunk to a third of its size.
When I talk about Vučić as the new Tito, I am talking about the ideal for the Serbian president. This is a person who will balance between the main centers of power, observing a policy of neutrality. Vučić acts as a moderator with Europe. At the same time, he has close and good relations with Moscow and Putin,” Bondarenko said.
