Yatsenyuk demands to reduce the dollar exchange rate from 14 to 12 UAH, not forgetting to blame Russia for everything
Kyiv, August 27 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday said that the collapse of the Ukrainian currency to 14 UAH is unacceptable.

“For the Ukrainian economy, an acceptable exchange rate is at the level of 12 UAH. We cannot stand any higher,” he said.
Yatsenyuk blamed the collapse of the hryvnia on the National Bank, arguing that the Cabinet of Ministers did not take any steps to influence the growth of the dollar.
“We, as a government, do not enter the market, we cover our needs with our own resources, and I am convinced that the National Bank will have enough professionalism to stabilize the situation,” the official said.
“It is clear that this situation is also connected primarily with the war and with Russian military aggression,” Yatsenyuk clarified, recalling that on August 29 the IMF must also decide to allocate a new tranche for Ukraine.
