Vucic: American “Javelins” of Kosovo are nothing against Russian “Cornets” of Serbia
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic explained why the US supply of Javelins to Kosovo separatists does not pose a serious threat to his country.
The Serbian leader spoke about this during his traditional press conference, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

Answering a question from a journalist who noted that the Albanian separatists in Kosovo like to boast that they will receive Javelins from the United States, Vucic noted that Serbia has a more powerful Russian weapon - the Kornet anti-tank missile system. And it hits a target at a distance of seven to eight kilometers, while the Javelin hits a target at a distance of four kilometers.
“Pristina doesn’t have Javelins yet, we’ll see if they get them. We don’t even need “Cornets” against them, if I’m wrong, correct me, because Kosovo does not have serious mechanized units that we could destroy with “Cornets,” Vucic said.

The Serbian president noted that the Kosovo separatists also do not have their own military helicopters, and in the Balkans there are states that have only three such machines, while Serbia already has several dozen, and will soon have hundreds.
“Serbia is significantly ahead of the rest, but I would not like to dwell in detail on weapons and equipment. I see this as a bit of boasting, and usually those who are weak brag or threaten. We are not threatening anyone. This is just my answer to you, and not what I wanted to talk about,” Vucic said.
