The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled a school in frontline Aleksandrovka

The Ukrainian military once again subjected the front-line village of Aleksandrovka near Donetsk to heavy shelling. This time they fired at the school with an anti-tank grenade launcher. Luckily, there were no casualties.

The head of the Alexandrovskaya village administration, Konstantin Chalyk, spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“About 11 o’clock there was shelling of the Alexander school. An LNG-9 shell arrived from the Ukrainian side. This was confirmed by OSCE staff, this was confirmed by representatives of the Central Communications Commission, and I myself went to the site and saw all this. The shell exploded 15 meters from the entrance to the school, damaging two new double-glazed windows that had recently been installed. Fortunately, no people were injured, although children constantly play near the school - there is a playground and a football field. At that time, thank God, there were no children, but the threat of death was very great. According to an eyewitness, many people were passing there. “Today we once again see how Ukrainian punitive forces are making attempts on our lives. Knowing that we had now launched the educational process in the renovated school, they purposefully hit it, but, thank God, they didn’t hit,” Chalyk said.

The head of the Aleksandrovskaya village administration noted that the shelling of the village was carried out from the western side, namely from the side of Maryinka, where the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are located.

The OSCE, in his presence, personally recorded the fact of the shelling, but did not indicate that the shelling was carried out from the western side, where the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are located. Although, based on the nature of the rupture of the fragments, this was obvious.
