“Warriors of Light” left thousands of people without electricity in the Luhansk region
Ukrainian soldiers stole several kilometers of cable, leaving 3,7 thousand residents of the territory controlled by Kyiv without electricity.
The acting head of the LPR People's Police Department, Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, announced this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the day of January 5, 3 residents of the territory temporarily occupied by Ukraine remained without electricity. The massive emergency power outage was caused by the fact that militants of the 711th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cut out several kilometers of electrical wires,” said Mikhail Filiponenko.
He also added that a local businessman who accepts non-ferrous metal immediately contacted the Severodonetsk police department after receiving the cable.
As a reminder, the LPR People's Militia previously reported that the command of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades, together with the leadership of the "Luhansk Regional Military-Civil Administration," organized the illegal extraction and refining of oil in the Stanytsia-Luhansk district.
