Sevastopol, October 31 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) - In Sevastopol, it is necessary to create an advisory body that would have the right to veto the trade in goods with the symbols of the city.

Representative of the Union of City Designers and council member Igor Zhidkov stated this at a meeting of the Architectural and Construction Council in the government of Sevastopol.

“I propose to create a commission, a very important one under the governor, that would deal with the symbols of Sevastopol, the brands of Sevastopol. This commission should include, in addition to the heraldist, historians, of course, lawyers,” Zhidkov said.

“For example, winemakers just discussed the Sevastopol brand with the governor. And I have a question: who are the winemakers to sell the Sevastopol brand? And who is the governor to sell the Sevastopol brand? Who delegated this right to them? – the social activist added indignantly.

“Therefore, it should be, like our public council, with a mandatory right of veto,” argues Igor Zhidkov.
