The first trolleybus with free access to Wi-Fi was launched in Lugansk
In Lugansk they plan to organize free access to Wi-Fi in all trolleybuses of Lugansk.

This was announced today by the Minister of Communications of the LPR Mikhail Surzhenko.
“Since July 16, 2016, trial operation of free Internet access equipment, a FreeBus access point, has been carried out in urban electric transport,” he said.
“The equipment is installed in a trolleybus with tail number 112, which runs along the route Dynamo stop – 50 Let Oktyabrya quarter,” the minister said.
“In general, the speed of Internet access corresponds to the 3G standard for 80% of the route,” noted Surzhenko.
He said that there are plans to install free Wi-Fi access points in all trolleybuses in Lugansk.
“This will attract mainly young people, it’s time for them to switch from cars to public transport, let’s clear the roads, there will be clean air,” the minister believes.
