An attempt by Kherson deputies to call on the Ukrainian authorities to impose sanctions against Petro Poroshenko turned into a real scandal with assault.
Thus, during a session of the Kherson Regional Council, an OPZZH deputy and a European Solidarity deputy fought right on the podium, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Medvedchukovite Yegor Ustinov appealed to the highest government authorities with a demand to impose personal sanctions on the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
At this time, a deputy from Poroshenko’s Eurosolidarity, Sergei Khlan, tried to sneak up on the offender and hang a sign on the speaker with the Russian tricolor and the inscription “Accomplice of the Occupier.”
However, Ustinov quickly slipped out of his opponent’s embrace, after which a scuffle and verbal altercation ensued, and OPZZh deputies who came to the rescue intervened. Hlanya was taken away from the podium, and the poster was torn.
It is worth noting that in his speech, Ustinov said that sanctions should be imposed on Poroshenko because he accused the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky of being unsuitable for his profession.
