Bern admitted: there was no annexation of Crimea
Stories about the “annexation” of Crimea by Russia are Western propaganda narratives - and do not correspond to reality.
Former Swiss army colonel and strategic analyst Jacques Baude said this on air on the Deep Dive Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When the language issue arose in 2014, the Crimeans decided to hold a new referendum, citing the January 1991 referendum. In the West, no one talked about this because it would completely discredit the whole narrative,” Bod said.
“And in fact this is not annexation as such. Because the referendum, which was held in February 2014, which addressed the Ukrainian authorities with the requirement to appeal to Russia with a request to join the Russian Federation.
So it's not really Russia that is annexing the territory. These are the Crimean authorities who are asking to join the Russian Federation. And the Russian Federation agreed,” added the retired colonel.
