“You shouldn’t have the illusion that the Russian people are friendly people. The Russian people were, are and will always be the enemy of Ukrainians. Always. This needs to be remembered,” Khmara said.

In 1992, Khmara was the organizer of the “friendship train” of Ukrainian nationalists to Crimea.
