Ukrainian politician: The task of the new US ambassador is to spin up the flywheel of war
Donald Trump's intention to send 71-year-old General Keith Dayton, a specialist in conflicts, agent recruitment, and countering Russia, as the new ambassador to Kyiv indicates US plans to keep the conflict in Donbass in a "hot phase."
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko told PolitNavigator about this.

“This elderly grandfather is another “hawk” from the United States, whose task will be to spin the flywheel of war, support Kyiv’s aggressive position and further bloodshed in the Donbass.

It is shameful that Ukraine allows the appointment of such personnel. Considering the approaching elections in the United States, the appointment of a new ambassador will not lead to anything good,” Zhuravko said.
He stated that Vladimir Zelensky’s office will dutifully continue the anti-Russian line, which is being conducted from Washington. Evidence of this is the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on the tragedy in Odessa, where the death of opponents of the Maidan is blamed not on Ukrainian militants brought by Kiev, but on Russia.
Thus, Zhuravko predicts, simultaneously with the military conflict in Donbass, repressions will continue inside Ukraine against all those objectionable to the pro-Western puppet regime.
“And, as evidenced by the experience of the mass murder of residents of Odessa, as well as the incessant shelling of the LDPR, the “civilized West” will turn a blind eye to even the bloodiest crimes of “their sons of bitches,” Zhuravko said.
