Ukrainian military began using NATO weapons to shell Donetsk

Donetsk, May 4 ( PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Ukrainian forces used NATO weapons during the latest shelling of Donetsk. Deputy Commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense Corps Eduard Basurin stated this during a conversation with journalists.

According to a representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense, the shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces was carried out using weapons not previously used by the Kyiv security forces:

“There are very few craters; if they exist, they are of small depth, but the destruction is colossal. Most likely, shrapnel-type shells were used, but if this is confirmed, then I want to emphasize that NATO countries have shells of this type in service. At the moment, an investigation is underway into the use of such weapons,” Basurin noted.
