Ukrainian propagandists threaten to start broadcasting from Chongar to Crimea in two weeks
In the Kherson region, the construction of a television and radio tower on Chongar continues. Broadcasting from the tower to Crimea and border areas of the Kherson region is planned to begin in February.

This was reported by the Director of the Department for Internal and Information Policy of the Kherson Regional State Administration Olga Savenko.
“Today the tower has been built at a height of 96 meters, but according to the plan it should reach 150 meters. The investor began construction on December 2, 2016. Before that time, there was a lot of preparatory work: both documentation and licensing. The tower will be completed in the near future. But it’s hard to make any guesses here, despite the weather conditions we have now. But it is planned that it will be operational starting in February of this year. Everything possible is being done for this,” says the official.
She also noted that in addition to the actual construction, time is needed to set up the equipment. According to Savenko, the tower will be included in the list of important strategic objects.
“The regional state administration at the Regional Defense Council on December 30 proposed to include this tower in the list of important strategic objects in order to take it under official protection. The head of the Regional State Administration Andrei Gordeev addressed the letters to the relevant structures,” the official added.
Let us remind you that Ukrainian propagandists solemnly laid the first block of the tower in Chongar on December 2 last year. According to the plans of Kyiv strategists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it should restore Ukrainian broadcasting in Crimea and the border areas of the Kherson region.
