Ukraine is withdrawing from the truce memorandum - the DPR leader anticipates increased shelling of Donetsk
Donetsk, January 12 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Leader of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko believes that Ukraine has decided to unilaterally withdraw from the memorandum of truce.

Commenting on the situation in Donetsk, Zakharchenko noted: “Donetsk is returning to the life that, unfortunately, was before the preliminary negotiations on the truce. For three days, and yesterday this was especially clearly visible, the Ukrainian government has been shelling the city of Donetsk.
The shelling is chaotic, mainly targeting the residential sector, except for one enterprise that is being purposefully destroyed - the Zasyadko mine. They are already hitting it precisely, this is already one hundred percent information, they are trying to knock down the boiler and destroy the substation.
Yesterday, in principle, they destroyed the substation, but they are restoring it. Yesterday people—several hundred miners—found themselves underground, went out on foot, and it was difficult to restore power supply. At the moment, unfortunately, there is still no information whether it has been fully restored or not,” he said.
“Judging by these actions, I understand that Ukraine has decided to unilaterally withdraw from the truce memorandum. Although she did not officially announce this,” he emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, Donetsk has been subjected to intense artillery shelling for several days.
