After the return of Crimea, Ukraine will populate it with ATO veterans (VIDEO)
Kyiv, February 12 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) - Official Kyiv, after returning Crimea under its control, will pursue a policy of populating it with ATO veterans - following the example of the USSR, which populated the peninsula with military retirees. Such measures will help Ukraine securely retain Crimea.
Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this at a round table in Kyiv.

“We must clearly define who we will rely on. And it is precisely these people that Ukrainian propaganda should be aimed at, from today, and throughout those years, decades, until we return Crimea. These are the only people we should be interested in. Because this is the base on which we will rely.
Also, I think we should use the colonist factor. I think that these should be the people who participated in the war, and we must, just as the USSR populated the Crimea with these military retirees at one time, we must allocate land to these people in order to expand the social basis of that culture by which we can lean on. Everything should be rational and manageable,” says Yuri Romanenko.
