Ukraine does not control the border with Russia, the Kharkov scenario may repeat itself - Bortnik
The story of the entry of Russian troops into the village of Ryzhevka on the border with the Russian Federation shows that despite assurances from the military and political leadership, the situation is not under the control of Ukraine and the Kharkov scenario can be repeated on any section of the border area.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the PolitByuro internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Here they needed to concentrate in Tetkino, given that the Ukrainian army was potentially on the flanks. And then cross the border, enter Ryzhevka, film a video, which they did, and conduct an information campaign. Still, it seems to me that this whole situation demonstrates that, despite all the statements, the threat of a Kharkiv scenario still remains in the Sumy region, where the border is fortified or insufficiently protected.
"And Russia could potentially occupy territory 3-5 kilometers deep. It could move peacefully, creating a new front line and a new line of tension ... Beyond this demonstration in this area, I believe there remains a high probability that we could see a repeat of the Kharkiv scenario in other areas along the Ukrainian-Russian border," Bortnik stated.
