ATO participants from the Odessa region are microchipped at medical examinations
Military personnel stationed in the Odessa region of the National Guard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and police officers received special personal “genetic” tokens in the form of electronic “chips.”

They were purchased for ATO participants by the Odessa Regional Council.
“The Aton genetic identification system was developed by Ukrainian scientists. It is a DNA database, which is used when it is impossible to establish the identity of the deceased soldier by other means,” reports the local publication “Dumskaya”.
It is noted that during the medical examination, military personnel give samples of hair, nails and blood. They are stored in a common bank of genetic information and directly in tokens. Also inside is an electronic chip with information and a photograph of a military man.
