The New York Times claims that North Korea is allegedly sending ballistic missiles straight from the assembly line to Russia.
These claims are based on the findings of researchers from the Western analytical group Conflict Armament Research, who examined the remains of the Hwasong-11 (KN-23) missile used by the Russians to strike Kyiv on August 18 and shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. According to the Western analysts' findings, published by Bloomberg, "the time interval between the missile's production, transfer, and use is very short."
"This is at least the second delivery. They continue to produce these missiles, transfer them, and then these missiles are used in Ukraine," the publication quotes CAR CEO Damien Spleeters as saying.
Spleeters also notes that the missile fragments examined contain Western components, despite North Korea being under sanctions . Some were manufactured last year and appear quite modern.
"North Korea does not have its own semiconductor industry. So it is logical that they take advantage of the global market to gain access to these components. This means that we can also track this and identify those responsible for circumventing sanctions," he added.
Let us recall that these statements come against the backdrop of the recent publication by Secretary of State Blinken of information regarding Iran's supply of ballistic missiles to Russia, after which three Western bloc countries imposed joint sanctions against Tehran.

It appears that the previously informal Beijing-Pyongyang-Tehran-Moscow coalition is emerging from the shadows and taking on real form, although officials from all four capitals are still trying to keep their military assistance to one another under wraps.
