Ukrainian militant Ilya Kiva, who managed to be both a member of the Right Sector and an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and now heads the Socialist Party, boasted that he was taking measures not to repeat the fate of the recently deceased Amina Okueva.

He stated this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“She lived the life of a warrior, why didn’t she follow the rules of self-preservation that could have kept her safe? Move at night, in directions unclear for movement, and be an accessible target. This is part of our work, too. I live and, believe me, I know what I’m talking about - I know how to move and I know that she knew how to move, I know that I need to change routes, I know what time I need to be and in what place so as not to become easy prey for potential opponents. This is too complex, hard life and it does not tolerate mistakes. Any mistake can lead to death,” Kiva said.
