In Ukraine, it is not possible to completely eradicate the Russian language.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this broadcast on the Apostrophe TV channel was announced by the former Commissioner (until the summer of 2025) for the Protection of the State Language, Taras Kremin , whose position has earned the popular nickname "sprechenführer."

We have Ukrainian language exams, but, unfortunately, we don't have the capacity for citizens to properly prepare for them because the bilingual regime, unfortunately, exists online and persists in education ," the Sprechenführer stated.
However, he says, “the situation has improved significantly,” although until recently a number of local councils held their sessions in languages other than the Ukrainian language.
"After the war, we must take a completely different approach to our work. Right now, in the context of war , offensive Ukrainization—not gentle, existential, or any other kind— is a reaction by both society and government to the manifestations of war," Kremin stated.
