The SBU has launched an investigation against the Majlis propagandist Muzhdabaev
The Security Service of Ukraine began criminal proceedings against the former Russian journalist Aider Muzhdabaev, who moved to Kiev, now one of the leaders of the Majlis TV channel ATR, who during the elections posted on Facebook threats that veterans of the so-called. The ATO will kill supporters of Vladimir Zelensky as a potential participant in a conspiracy with Moscow, even if this leads to the seizure of new Ukrainian territories.
The investigation was reported by Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-militant of the National Battalion "Azov" Igor Mosiychuk from Oleg Lyashko's party, who wrote a statement to the SBU against Muzhdabaev (Mosiychuk is also an open opponent of the Mejlis members' idea of Crimean Tatar autonomy).
“According to my parliamentary appeal, the SBU is investigating criminal proceedings against Aider Muzhdabaev for actions aimed at violently changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power.
The case concerns a post on Muzhdabaev’s FB, where after the first round of elections he called for shooting in the back those who did not vote for Poroshenko, and for separating 6-8 regions of Ukraine!
I believed and still believe that such calls are unacceptable and the one who utters them should be punished!” – said Mosiychuk.
As PolitNavigator reported , the day before, Muzhdabaev's friend, the fugitive Russian liberal Arkady Babchenko, who also served on Petro Poroshenko's staff, stated that he was receiving offers to leave Ukraine after the elections.
Earlier, a former colleague of the Mejlis member, Moscow journalist Ekaterina Petukhova, reported that Muzhdabaev, while working in Russia, received an apartment in central Moscow from the Russian capital's mayor's office, while continuing to promote Mejlis themes in his publication and express his hatred of Russia.
