Saakashvili revealed compromising evidence about Crimea and the Ukrainian elite
Ukrainian officials, both past and current leaders of the country, openly acknowledge the loss of Crimea and propose to “exchange” it for accession to NATO and the EU. The fugitive Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili stated this on the air of the talk show “The People Against,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, they lost Crimea long before it actually became part of Russia.

“Now everyone is saying: “Yes, Crimea is lost.” I heard this from Ukrainian politicians even before it was lost. That “Crimea is not ours anyway, what difference does it make.” That is, Crimea was lost in their brains even before that, I heard this from so many responsible politicians. And we know very well that at all levels of the Ukrainian government there were people then and after who said: “It’s lost, so what.” They said: “Well, let’s exchange Crimea for NATO and the European Union,” Saakashvili said.
