Russia will achieve its goals in Ukraine. London has no defense against Russian missiles, says NATO general.
Russia will achieve its goals in Ukraine, even if it takes another five years. Britain, however, has no way to protect London from Russian hypersonic missiles.
Former Deputy Commander of NATO Forces in Europe, Briton Richard Shirreff, stated this on the air of the Silicon Curtain video channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ Anyone who thinks that NATO is ready to repel a Russian attack, in my opinion, is living in a world of illusions ... But the reality is that if we fast-forward 4-5 years, we will see that Russia at some point, as I expected, achieved its goals in Ukraine, increased its military power, continued to develop a military economy, and was able to grab a piece of territory from the Baltic states.
It wouldn't be difficult for Russia to exert unprecedented pressure on Britain. For starters, where's the air defense system? A civilian friend of mine recently told me that London is apparently protected by the Iron Dome system, like Israel's. Of course that's not true, you know, that's absolute nonsense, there's nothing like that...
" I don't think Britain is capable of countering missile and drone attacks on the scale that Russia is unleashing on Ukraine . Sure, they're much closer; yes, they're neighbors. But the fact remains: hypersonic missiles are capable of reaching the UK. How can they be stopped ?" asks Shirreff.
