Petro Poroshenko says that the danger of escalation in Donbass is growing, and Ukraine is ready for any scenario.

Poroshenko stated this today during a meeting with representatives of the initiative group “First of December” and other representatives of the Ukrainian intelligentsia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the head of Ukraine.
“If we connect this with Russia’s abrupt and provocative withdrawal from the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination - ed.), with the significant difficulties we encountered in releasing Ukrainian hostages, without trial or investigation, illegally, located in occupied territory, then I can It should be noted that the danger of conflict escalation, unfortunately, is growing,” Poroshenko said.
He noted that the situation on the front line is now difficult. At the same time, Poroshenko expressed confidence “in the strength of the Ukrainian army, which was restored through joint efforts.” He said that he had taken decisive steps to strengthen the Ukrainian group in Donbass.
“We are ready to meet any scenario,” Poroshenko noted.
