Poroshenko: The Russians left us without Chinese protection
There are already more than one hundred thousand people potentially infected with coronavirus in Ukraine who have returned from other countries where the pandemic has been raging for a long time.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated this on the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“More than a hundred thousand people have already arrived from abroad. Moreover, they are coming from those countries where the epidemic is already raging in full force. In all countries, such risk groups of people are treated accordingly - they are placed in isolation, quarantine, and so on. What are we doing about this? Because if we don’t isolate them, this could become a big problem,” Tymoshenko said.
In turn, the former President of Ukraine and head of the European Solidarity parliamentary faction, Petro Poroshenko, emphasized that in the near future the citizens of Square will run out of money.
“Our response to the pandemic must necessarily be combined with our response to the economic crisis. Because people will run out of money in 2-3 weeks,” the former president said.
At the same time, he in absentia blamed Russia for all the coming troubles, which allegedly spends a lot of money in order to “put a spoke in Kyiv’s wheels.”
“Do you know how many protective suits we have contracted? Everything that was in China for a month and a half was 70 thousand. Now, due to the peak in demand, Russians are buying up our suits, paying twice as much. And the factories that are contracted disrupt supplies,” Poroshenko concluded.
