Poroshenko: Russia is trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, like in Syria

Zaporozhye, February 21 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) –  President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced Russia’s plans to destabilize the situation in Ukraine according to the Syrian scenario.

According to him, plans to destabilize the situation in Ukraine do not stop at the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

“The Syrian basic scenario: with the help of the occupying forces, destabilize the situation throughout the country,” Poroshenko said.

At the same time, the head of the Ukrainian state called shelling of residential areas in the Donetsk region “genocide against the Russian-speaking population.”
