Sevastopol, October 27 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – In the very center of Simferopol on Serov Street, despite the extremely low temperatures for the end of October, the heating is not turned on.

Residents of building No. 8 reported this to PolitNavigator.
According to them, they have heating problems every year. The fact is that central heating was supplied to the house through the Main Post Office, which turned it on and off at its own discretion. For example, on New Year's holidays. Warmth in homes sometimes appeared only after calls to the hotline and visits to the neighboring Supreme Council. After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, residents had nowhere to turn - the Main Post Office sold the neighboring building and the basement with a valve that opens the heat supply.
“I sold it either to Krymtelecom or to the FMS. The Main Post Office is happy that they have finally gotten rid of us. We can’t find out anything, it’s impossible to get through to anyone, including the Council of Ministers hotline. “Krymteplokommunenergo” supplies heat in due time, but, of course, we don’t have access to the valve, and we are slowly starting to freeze. We have two children, three and four years old. It’s a shame, I have no debts to the heating companies,” said Tatyana, the owner of one of the apartments.
For now, air conditioners and oil radiators are saving residents.
“Our houses are old, hundred years old, and the roofs are dilapidated. We are waiting with horror for the lights to go out, new wind blows and real frosts below five degrees - then the air conditioner will no longer help,” say the residents.
