A propagandist who defected to Kyiv admitted that Ukrainians don’t care about NATO and the EU
The ordinary population of Ukraine does not need either NATO or the EU - only a small part of the “politically active” population requires membership in these organizations.
Ukrainian propagandist Matvey Ganapolsky stated this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In my house, where I rent an apartment, there is a concierge. This is what Europe is like, you know, somehow. Ukraine consists of different people. And people in small towns, villages and so on - this Europe is for them, well, it’s not the same for me. For me this is a fundamental question. I am here in Ukraine because I hope that Ukraine will become a member of the EU... I would like the country in which I was born to join the civilized group of EU countries and for it to be a member of NATO, so that the issue of its security will be resolved forever. But for other people...” said Ganapolsky, emphasizing that “concierges” are the majority in Ukraine.
