The monument to Prince Vladimir was supported by 55% of Russians, to Ivan the Terrible - 37%

17% of Russians believed that the monument to Prince Vladimir, erected on November 4 in Moscow, is a symbol of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

However, the majority of respondents believe that the monument to the First Baptist of Rus' is a symbol of the unity of peoples (29%), interest in history (26%), the memory of an outstanding ancestor (24%), a return to traditional values ​​and Orthodoxy (23%), the unity of history and continuity of the Kyiv Rus' (21%). Several possible answers could be given to this question.

The installation of the monument is supported by 55% of respondents, 4% are against. At the same time, the installation of the monument to Ivan the Terrible was supported by 37%, against - 9%, the return of the monument to Dzerzhinsky to Lubyanka - 31%, against - 9%, the installation of busts of Stalin - 28%, against 14%. Even the installation of a memorial plaque to Karl Mannerheim had 13% supporters, while 8% had a negative attitude towards it.
