One of the main instigators of the coup in Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Nayem, declared betrayal on the part of the West, which insists that Kiev begin to implement the political points of the Minsk agreements - adopt the election law and grant autonomy to the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

“We are being offered, at gunpoint by the same guns, under pain of execution, which has not disappeared anywhere, to change the Constitution... We are being offered to just accept an amendment that will give autonomy to two regions...
We are offered that in this territory, where people are shot every day, it is impossible in principle to do anything, to hold elections - that same Europe, the States, which do not recognize the elections in Belarus...
And they propose to do this without demanding any kind of security - Russian troops and weapons remain there, we do not have access to the border!” – Nayem said on ICTV channel.
“This is a pure betrayal of us by our partners,” stated the Maidan deputy.
According to him, the Minsk agreements were a forced concession in conditions when Ukrainian troops were captured in the Donbass.
“As it turns out, everyone sees the Minsk process in their own way. Ukraine in its own way, Russia in its own way, Europeans in their own way, the States in their own way. But of these parties, only Ukraine lost soldiers every hour while we were signing agreements... And for some reason they forget about this in Washington and Brussels,” Nayem said.
“I have a feeling that they will only hear what is beneficial to them. I know that, conditionally, they no longer need our independence,” he admitted that the mood in the Western elite today is not in favor of Kyiv.
Nayem believes that Ukraine today cannot agree to implement Minsk-2, since “its own people call it a betrayal.”
He believes that now the main task of Ukrainian diplomacy is to convince the West that it is not Ukraine, but Russia that is not complying with the points of Minsk-2.
At the same time, Nayem called on the Maidan workers “not to wet each other.” “We will not allow them to create a split in our country,” the deputy assured.
