Mobilization has failed in Western Ukraine: men are fleeing entire villages to the Far East and Siberia
Ivano-Frankivsk, January 26 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Mobilization is breaking down in the Carpathian region: men are running away to earn money.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Oleg Goncharuk during a public meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies, authorities and military commissars of the region.
The official claims that the region has already developed a process of criticizing mobilization, but informing Carpathian residents about the need to join the ranks of the Armed Forces is not yet enough.
Ciscarpathian activists also voiced their share of criticism. According to the publication "Galka ," the most criticism was directed at the Kalush-Rozhnyativ commissar. People asked why, during the independence era, only one person from the urban-type settlement of Pereginske served in the army. The military commissar explained that men from there are virtually elusive, as they are constantly working in Russia.
This argument only angered community activists. “They are sure: this is either about the lack of professionalism of the military commissar or about bribery in the department. Eyewitnesses also reported that on January 19, on the eve of the start of mobilization, 26 buses with men left Pereginsk to work in the Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk Territories of the Russian Federation. Why law enforcement officers and the military did not warn this departure is a big mystery,” the publication writes.
