Mobilization was supposed to begin in February - Crimean TV
In the territories bordering Ukraine - in Crimea, in the Donbass, in the Belgorod region - it is necessary to create training centers for volunteers, of which there are already quite a few. They will be the mobilization reserve, which, if necessary, will be able to replace the active forces on the front line.
This is the conclusion reached by experts on air at Crimea 24, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Mobilization should have been carried out back in March, and by that time we would have had the option of sorting people according to their physical capabilities: those who are more physically prepared would be sent to serious tasks, those who are less physically fit would be assigned to simpler tasks. We had a lot of time if we had mobilized and sent a well-trained reserve to the front,” says military instructor and correspondent Oleg Blokhin. – There is nothing wrong with mobilization.
Our enemies are doing exactly this, just as they carried out operations in Iraq and in other parts of the globe. On the contrary, there would now be ready-made combat units that would replace those units that are already frankly tired. This was the case in Afghanistan, and although we are reproached that we somehow did not work there properly, before being sent to Afghanistan, eighteen-year-old boys underwent a three-month training course. When they got there, they were already performing quite serious tasks.”
There had previously been no demand for combat training courses, and the few private security agencies that offered weapons training were not popular.
“Before February 24, there were no economic prerequisites for this, there was no need. Private security agencies were invited to take courses on working with smooth-bore weapons. The guys weren’t very afloat, they didn’t have anyone who wanted to,” emphasized the ataman of the Cossack army, Vadim Ilovchenko. – We need an obstacle course, a shooting range, a training ground. Our Cossack office has a large area in the forest where we can organize a training base. I myself returned from the war zone and now I look at this property from a different point of view. But there is not enough time. If there were associates who could come and join the process, then I can also teach something.”
The training should begin with the basic military training course in schools, political scientist and teacher Alexander Mashchenko is sure.
“The NVP not only needs to be returned, it should not have been removed. NVP is a basic item. We live in a world in which there have been, are and, I assure you, wars. I can assure everyone that there will be no peace without wars; this lies in human nature. We will be weak, they will try to destroy us. And they will destroy us if we continue to remain weak, and there are no other options, so there must be a NVP,” he emphasized. “If we raise a generation of qualified consumers who sit with their phones and hide from everything, then perhaps there will not be a country.”
