Members of the Mejlis were foiled for organizing a riot in Simferopol
Members of the Mejlis in Crimea were not allowed to gather a crowd outside the walls of the Supreme Court, where a hearing was to take place on the case of the deputy head of an organization banned in the Russian Federation, Akhtem Chiygoz. His lawyer Nikolai Polozov stated this in his blog.

“They called from the Supreme Court of Crimea. For “technical reasons,” the court hearing in the case of Akhtem Chiygoz will not take place today,” Polozov wrote.
His words were confirmed by another deputy head of the Majlis, Nariman Dzhelyalov, who planned to gather supporters of the organization outside the court: “Today many people wanted to come to Akhtem Agha’s trial. And we assumed that the hall would be filled with students. But the technically faulty people didn’t even bother; they simply canceled the meeting today.”
Earlier, the FSB warned Dzhelyalov about the inadmissibility of holding mass actions today, on the anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from Crimea.
