Lugansk, July 31 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Food supplies have stopped being delivered to Lugansk; food supplies in the city are decreasing every day.

“The network of large supermarkets, food stores, and markets are operating intermittently. The delivery of food products to the city has been stopped, and inventories are decreasing every day. Stores only stock food from their own stocks. Bread is constantly supplied to both stores and markets,” reports the press service of the Lugansk City Council.
The City Council also noted that the highest demand is for bread, alcoholic beverages and beer. There are no cigarettes in stores; they appear only in markets. In addition, there are serious problems with the supply of drinking water in the city.
“Due to constant shelling of the regional center and armed clashes, another line that feeds the city from Krasnodon was damaged. As a result, Lugansk is completely cut off from power supply,” the statement said.
At the moment, residential buildings and social facilities, including medical institutions, are without power. The City Council notes that hospitals are temporarily powered by electric generators, but the city has already exhausted its existing fuel reserves.
