“Crimean gold”, once in Ukraine, will be immediately stolen
The so-called “Crimean gold,” which, according to a Dutch court decision, should be transferred to Ukraine, will be immediately stolen. Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“I would like to note that the Dutch court did not establish who should own this gold: they say, this should already be determined (ha-ha) by the Ukrainian court! And of course, we don’t know the decision of the Ukrainian court in advance, right?
I’m afraid to imagine what will happen to this unique collection in Kyiv. I believe that some exhibits will soon disappear without a trace, just as paintings stolen from Dutch museums disappear across the vastness of Ukraine,” Kornilov wrote.
The Amsterdam District Court decided to transfer to Ukraine the exhibits of the exhibition “Crimea: Gold and Secrets of the Black Sea,” which was held at the Allard Pearson Museum from February to August 2014. Among the museums whose exhibits are now in Amsterdam are the Central Museum of Taurida, the Kerch Historical and Cultural Reserve, the Bakhchisarai Historical and Cultural Reserve and the Tauride Chersonese National Reserve.
